Kerry Travellers Project and MTU Kerry are delighted to invite you to a very special day of celebration as we honor three decades of community, culture, and progress.
In partnership with Munster Technological University (MTU) Kerry, the Kerry Traveller Health & Community Development Project (KTHCDP) is hosting a triple milestone event during Traveller Pride Week 2026.
We are celebrating:
Traveller Pride 2026, “Looking Back, Moving Forward”
The 30th Birthday of KTHCDP (1996–2026)
The Official Launch of KTHCDP StrategicPlan 2026-2029 and our brand-new website!
MTU Kerry’s Access Programme

Brief Outline:
Experience a traditional Traveller wagon from the Meath Travellers Workshop living history project, listen to the legendary storytelling of Nell McDonagh, and take a walk through our “Look Back” exhibition, which showcases our 30-year journey and a panel discussion of past and current volunteers and staff of KTHCDP and representatives of MTU Access.
